NASA has claimed that 1998 was the warmest year on record. That is until a Canadian scientist recalulated their data correctly. Now it turns out that four of the warmest years on record occurred in the 1930's, but don't expect to read about this in your local paper.

Since this is just the exact same thing:

 

What you don't mention is that the previous data said 1998 was the warmest year on record by a very thin margin. Now it is, by a very thin margin, just under 1934.
If we graph the data:

I would mock you by saying "OH GOD LOOK AT THE MASSIVE CHANGE", but I'll instead simply point out that the change is barely detectable.
