Ron Paul Takes Second Place in Nevada

Congressman Ron Paul came in second in Saturday's Nevada caucus, placing ahead of John McCain, Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson.

 

Paul has already demonstrated strong voter appeal in Iowa and New Hampshire.

 

With 97 percent of Nevada precincts reporting, the tally:

 

 

  • Mitt Romney 51%

     

     

     

  • Paul 14%

     

     

     

  • McCain 13%

     

     

     

  • Mike Huckabee 8%

     

     

     

  • Thompson 8%

     

     

     

  • Giuliani 4%

     

     

     

  • Duncan Hunter 2%
