Fighting with Two Arms and One Leg…
In Monty Python’s Holy Grail there is a scene near the beginning of the movie where King Arthur comes across a Black Knight guarding a small bridge. The Knight refuses to give way so a battle ensues. The Black Knight is no match for Arthur and soon looses both arms and one leg. Still not willing to give up he shouts to Arthur “come back and fight, you coward, I can still bite!” I often fill like the US is fighting for its survival with two arms and one leg tied behind its back. With over 90% or its newspapers, vast majority of its News networks and over 95% of other media in the hands of liberals Americans rarely if ever get a true picture of the world and its challenges. Almost its entire educational system has been co-opted as well. For these reasons and others I believe the US is in the gravest danger it has ever faced. Recent news that North Korea is trying to weaponize bird flu, Iran is very close to becoming a nuclear power(with its history of supporting terrorism) and with significant evidence that Al Qaeda is well on its way to obtaining its own nuclear weapons, there is much to fear. In addition if you take into account what is happening south of our border, especially in Bolivia, Venezuela, and other South American countries rarely has the US been so endangered while at the same time the American people have never been so divided.
While many factors play a role, I believe that the single most damaging factor is that Americans have turned their back on God. This has lead to many Americans believing that they are above God and his laws. The Human Ego is running amok and its damage is everywhere, for those willing to see. I often use the analogy of the frog and the pot of water. If you put a frog in a pot of boiling water he will soon jump out. But if you put the same frog in tepid water and slowly raise the temperature he will boil to death! I believe that is what is happening to this country and its morality and willingness to defend it self which are mutually intertwined. I recently learned that there were protestors at the opening night of United 93! I wonder why the HJ didn’t cover that? Not if, but when a large American city like New York goes up in a nuclear cloud what little rights we enjoy will disappear overnight. News will be tightly controlled to prevent panic and riots. The economy will take a nosedive. Most forms of communication will be shut down immediately, especially the internet. There will most likely be food riots and possibly many bank failures. In other words it would be devastating. This threat is nothing compared to an EMP occurring over the middle of the US. To those of you who do not know what this is I highly recommend you find out soon. This would damage 70-80% or our electrical grid. Banks would not be able to communicate with each other. In addition, almost all computers, other that those used by important defense installations would be immediately fried. Most automobiles would cease to operate. Soon grocery stores would be without food. Iran has already conducted a test for one of its missiles which can only be understood as for this purpose. All they would have to do is highjack some ship, float it somewhere hear American waters and let the missile go. How would we know who to blame? Give you something to think about, doesn’t it?
