What’s Good for the Goose is…

            How many of you think that the CIA agent who violated her secrecy oath, which made prosecuting the war on terror more difficult, will be indicted by a Grand Jury? I predict she won’t. Why, because the Democrats are far better at playing politics than the Republicans. It seems only fair, that if Scooter Libby was indicted than anyone who violates our National Security should be including the reporters who printed the story. These leaks are far more damaging than most people realize. If you where a foreign national and were asked by an American agent to work with them, would you? I wouldn’t because you never know if your collaboration will be revealed. What really blows me away is that the more liberal elements in our country do not seem to take the threats seriously. That was the real damage done by the 9/11 commission. The whole thing was set up to share blame and therefore no real  blame for 9/11. If it had been done properly, the American people would have been told the truth. That the Clinton Administration never took any threat seriously and did many, many things to undermine our National Security.

            The Republicans seem far more concerned with protecting the good deal that they have going, rather than doing anything seriously about protecting the American people. To those of you who do not know this, the CIA agent fired is named Mary McCarthy, who was placed in power by Sandy Burger. You might recall him. He was tried and convicted for stealing and destroying secret documents from the National Archives (he was obviously worried that the Clinton Administrations failures would be revealed). He too, was only given a slap on the wrist. If you or I had done anything similar we would be rotting away in some Federal Prison for years. She also is clearly a very political person who supported the Kerry campaign and other Democratic candidates. But our government is far more interested in protecting its own thing versus us, the people, who finance the whole enchilada.

Why is this? First of all the Democrats have a big advantage over the Republicans. The pretty much control the press, or more accurately the press covers for them. Journalism has change drastically during the last forty years or so. They are much more concerned with promoting their agenda rather then with reporting facts. Because of the failure of our educational system, most Americans had not learned to think critically. Since most of us still get our information from the Major Media (MM) we continue to miss the bigger picture.

            Have you ever wondered why we didn’t strike back at Iran after the bombing of the Marine Barracks in Lebanon? It was common knowledge that Iran was behind it. I submit that the CIA at that point had been so damaged by Congress after the Church committee that they were far more interested in covering their own back side. Therefore when they sent an agent to find out what happened in Beirut, it was only for show. Unfortunately for the agent, he didn’t know this and did his job. When he reported that Iran was behind the bombing and had proof, he was fired and charged by the CIA for murder and a few other trumped up charges. His source was also murdered in Lebbanon, for which the agent was blamed, even though he wasn't even in Beirut when this occurred. Until the American people wake up to the fact that their government doesn't have their best interests at heart, the same story will be repeated over and over.
