A CALL TO ACTION!
You Are Either With Us of Against Us!
Right after 9/11 President Bush used these famous words in his address to the America people. I do not know if you remember this, but these words caused a great deal of consternation with our more leftist elements. In his first State of the Union speech after 9/11 he referred to North Korea, Iran and Iraq as an axis of evil. Once again those elements had a great deal of negative things to say about this statement. Beside many in this group being basically anti-American, have you ever wondered why these words caused such a problem? It finally dawned on me (I have never claimed to be the sharpest tool in the shed) that these people have a problem with any absolutes, like right or wrong, good or evil etc. This is a direct result of their rejections of God and his teachings! Why to those of us who do not belong in a rubber room understand that the universe is full of absolutes and that everything single action has consequences, the leftist crowd has a major problem with moral judgments at least when applied to them. Them have no problem making all kinds of judgments against conservatives or for that matter anyone who disagrees with them, but like the petulant children they are, they do not what ever to be held responsible for their own actions!
That is one of the reasons why they are consistently soft on punishing criminals and now terrorists (close Gitmo!) or firing people like Ward Churchill (who by the way was recently highly condemned by a academic panel for numerous violations in many areas of professional conduct). Any judgment is way too harsh to them unless it involved people like George Bush, VP Cheney, Rumsfeld, Condi, Wolfowitz etc etc. etc. You will likely never here them say “this is wrong” or “this shouldn’t be allowed” unless they describe it as “hate speech” etc. Until the day I die, I will never understand the people who cannot say enough about free speech, unless it involves something that they do not agree with. And as far as I can tell the greatest crime imaginable is to say something “hurtful” with of course the previous proviso. This also explains their war with religion. They are like spoiled children who want to be free to do anything they want without paying the consequences. The pro Gay community is also guilty of this type of thinking. They have been very successful from turning the American peoples thinking regarding the responsibility of promiscuous sex on the part of the Gay community to just a disease that anyone can get. The Major Media have joined with this program hook, line and sinker.
And finally I would be remiss if I didn’t include Hollywood in this group. They are some of the biggest cheerleaders for the “if it feels good, do it” crowd. God help us all!
