            This movie takes place over France during WW I. Most Americans know next to nothing about this war and this movie provides a vignette about one small aspect of this war. But more importantly, this movie provides a diminishing view about traits such as self sacrifice, honor and overcoming ones fears (courage). War is a very nasty business. Unfortunately, the entire Western World seems to have decided that nothing is worth fighting for. Since World War II more and more of the burden for the cause of world peace has fallen on the American people. Columnist Mark Steyn has just written a book called “America Alone.” He points out the amazing moral rot which has befallen most of Western Europe and Canada. France has made a deal with the devil which almost no one is aware. It is estimated that by 2030 France, the Netherlands and possibly Belgium will all become Islamic countries simply based upon reproductive rates. I hope this thought gives the reader a reason to pause and reflect. Western Civilization is under a clear threat. If the thought of living under a Taliban like government worries you then I suggest you educate yourself and get politically active. Time is a wasting.
